What we sell
Limited-edition prints of historical photographs from public archives, restored in full color. The store runs on Shopify; prints are produced and shipped by a professional print partner with facilities in the United States and the European Union. The contract for every order is with CS Totaal, trading as Past in Color.
Supervision and disputes
Consumer contracts are governed by Dutch law without prejudice to the mandatory law of your country of residence. If you have a complaint, write to us first; we resolve almost everything by email. Data protection complaints can be addressed to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch data protection authority.
Content and images
The historical photographs on this site are, to the best of our research, in the public domain, and each product page names the holding archive. The restorations, texts and design of this site are ours. Rights holders who believe an image is published in error can use our image sourcing and takedown policy.
