Cookie policy
The short version: we use a small number of cookies and similar technologies: the ones Shopify needs to run the store and checkout, one analytics tool to understand how the site is used, one email tool that recognizes you if you signed up for our list, and, only if you consent, an advertising pixel that measures whether our ads work. We do not sell your data. You can refuse everything except the essential cookies and the store still works.
What runs on this site
Essential (always on)
Shopify sets the cookies that make the store function: your cart, the checkout, fraud prevention, and remembering your region and currency. The site cannot work without these.
Analytics
We use PostHog, hosted in the European Union, to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are read, where visitors come from, and where they get stuck. This may include session replays of how a page was used. The data is pseudonymous and is not sold or shared for advertising.
If you join our email list, Klaviyo (our email platform) sets a cookie so that the site can recognize you as a subscriber and so we can see which emails led to a visit. If you never sign up, this does nothing meaningful.
Advertising, only with consent
When we run advertising, the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel measures whether an ad led to a visit or a purchase. It is loaded only where consent rules allow it, and you can refuse it via the cookie banner.
Your choices
- Use the cookie banner to accept or refuse non-essential cookies. You can change your choice at any time.
- Visit Your Privacy Choices to opt out of data sharing where that right applies to you.
- Your browser can block or delete cookies entirely; the store keeps working, though your cart may not be remembered.
